Welcome to End of Time 3.0!

	End of Time is a simple utility that gives the time, date, 
amount of free memory, and percentage of free resources, both GDI 
and USER.  It will stay on top of other applications on the desktop 
so you can always know the time and the resources available.  End of 
Time also has the benefit of letting you close it, exit Windows, exit 
& restart Windows or reboot your computer.  Included is a configuration 
program that lets you change what is displayed, colors used, exit 
options, and whether or not it resides "on top."

REQUIREMENTS
------------

	I originally wrote End of Time on a 486DX-33 with 4MB RAM, 
534MB of hard disk space, and 800x600 resolution.  But since the 
program is only 29KB itself, I don't think you'll have much to worry 
about.  Windows 3.1 or above is required, however.

INSTALLATION
------------

	Please read the file install.wri or install.txt.

USING END OF TIME
-----------------

	Once loaded, there's nothing to do but glance at it when you 
want to know the time, date, or available resources.  If, however, 
you would like to close End of Time or exit Windows in any of three 
ways, simply click once with the right mouse button anywhere on the 
End of Time display bar.  A dialog box will appear with up to 6 buttons:

		Configure	Start the Configuration program to set 
End of Time's parameters

		About		A little information about End of Time

		Close		Closes only End of Time

		Exit		Exits Windows without further 
confirmation from you

		Restart		Exits Windows, and then restarts it

		Reboot		Exits Windows, and then reboots your computer

CONFIGURING END OF TIME
-----------------------

	Please see the file config.wri or config.txt for specific information.
However, not covered in that file is the ability to move the End of Time 
display bar by simply dragging it with the left mouse button.  Note that 
the top left corner of the display bar will be at the location where you 
released the left mouse button when dragging.

REGISTRATION
------------

	End of Time is SHAREWARE, not FREEWARE. Therefore, you are expected 
to register it with the author if you intend to use it beyond a 30-day 
trial period.  I've provided an order form (order.wri or order.txt) for 
your convenience.  At $10, I hope you'll agree that it's a good buy.  
Your registration will get you a registered copy of the program as well 
as my eternal gratification. If a new release is in the works, you will 
receive a registration number that will "turn off" the advertisement that 
pops up when End of Time is closed.  You will then receive the next update 
when it is available.  
	You are free to distribute the program, as long as all files are 
distributed together, unaltered.  You may not charge more than the cost 
of the disk containing the End of Time files when distributing it.

NEW TO VERSION 3.0
------------------

	* Bug fixes:
		- Corrected the clock wrapping around midnight.

		- The installation program didn't read directory 
changes correctly.  Now it does.

	* End of Time can now display GDI and/or USER resources 
available (see the file config.wri or config.txt for details).
